MPC Timeline

Mearthane Products Corporation (USA) has been first-to-market with polyurethane breakthroughs that have set industry standards in a range of applications since 1965.

Every day, chemists and scientists at MPC are developing advanced urethane processing technologies and special-application formulations.

In roller skating, MPC wheels have tamed tracks, set World Records, and put countless skaters on podiums since 2004:

1994MPC Develops and later Patents (issued) a dual-layer skate wheel. ‘95 ‘96 1997MPC Patents a multi-layer skate wheel design, and multi-durometer skate wheel configuration. ‘98 ‘99 ‘00 ‘01 ‘02 ‘03 2004MPC MTech™ wheels (at 84mm) win World Championship.  2005MPC MTech™ wheels (at 84mm, and a few prototype 100mm) win World Championships.  2006MPC Patents (pending) a Turbine Hub optimized for larger wheel sizes.
MPC MTech™ wheels (at 90 and 100mm) win World Titles and medals on track and road.
Gregory Duggento sets the 200m World Record on MPC.
 20079 of 16 World Titles are won on MPC wheels by Day 2 of Worlds.
Wouter Hebbrecht wins road 200m MPC.
Nicholas Iten wins Seoul World Cup on MPC.
MPC releases Storm Surge wheel.
Hilde Goovaerts wins Berlin World Cup on MPC Storm Surge.
 2008Brittany Bowe sets 300m World Record on MPC.
Sara Sayasane & Brittany Bowe 1-2 in the track 1000m on MPC.
Gijon, Spain World Championships: 10 track gold, 9 road gold (including 3/4 200m time trials), and 3/4 marathon gold were won on MPC.
 2009MPC releases the Road War wheel.
CadoMotus World Team skate Road War to victories in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and France.

1994

2007

By Day 2 of the Track World Championship, 9 of 16 World Titles are won on MPC wheels.

Wouter Hebbrecht upsets Gregory Duggento to win the road 200m World Title on MPC Black Track.

MPC VT wheels win the Seoul World Cup Marathon, thanks to Rollerblade’s Nicholas Iten.

MPC releases the Storm Surge wheel, specifically developed for wet surfaces, and redefines wet weather skating. Hilde Goovaerts wins a rain-soaked Berlin World Cup Marathon ahead of favored opposition on the MPC Storm Surge.

2008

Brittany Bowe switches to MPC Street Fight wheels and sets a new World Record in the 300m.

Sara Sayasane and Brittany Bowe go lower, harder and faster on the track than perhaps any girls before them to take Gold & Silver in the World Championship 1000m on MPC Street Fight wheels.

By the end of the World Championships in Gijon, Spain, 10 Track and 9 Road (including 3 out of 4 200m time trials) gold medals were won on MPC Wheels.

MPC releases Road War wheel.

CadoMotus World Team with Shane Dobbin & Bart Swings skate Road War to victories at Gros Gerau and at marathons in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and the Dijon World Cup in France.
